So ... what is gaslighting?
Well ... "manipulate (someone) using psychological methods into questioning their own sanity or powers of reasoning."
Or better explained ... "Lying about or denying something and refusing to admit the lie even when you show them proof. Insisting that an event or behavior you witnessed never happened and that you're remembering it wrong. Spreading rumors and gossip about you, or telling you that other people are gossiping about you."
It might happen in love relationships.
... in business relationships.
Or even ... in relationships with close friends.
But ... the question is ... why?!
Why someone would do that?!
I know it sounds immoral ... but can we accept gaslighting ... in certain circumstances .... as a way of experiencing 2 or more parallel realities?!
I mean ... realistically ... after realising that one reality will never give us what we really want ... do we really have the right to play with the minds of the people from the stage of that reality?!
Doing all ... we want ... right in front of their eyes ... but beautifully explaining that ... it is not what it looks like.
I personally know a guy ... which into the end went with his wife at a mental hospital ... and let her there for 3 weeks because he played so much with her mind ... flirting with his mistress right in front of wife's eyes .... but always saying they were just talking.
I also know a lady ... which played with her lover for more than a year ... abstractly flirting with other men ... right in front of the lover ... to whom she always repeated that she's madly in love with him.
And she replied all the time ... "We were talking about weather... ", "This man just called me to say - Happy Easter ... so nice of him ... ", "Don't be silly ... we just said hello one to another ..."
Unfortunately ... it was happening ... one episode after another.
And ... another one ...
Then ... another one.
Everyone could see it was an abstract way of flirting or even micro- cheating ... right in front of his eyes ... but she kept insisting that she was only having normal conversations with other men.
... nothing special.
Yes ... she actually considered all this normal ... but obviously adoring to play with the lover's mind.
... using psychological methods ... to still have access to those parallel realities ... connecting and tasting abstractly... other men.
She ... adored those games.
... having a clear addiction.
So ... the real honest question is ... should we judge this lady?!
Should we consider her ... immoral?!
Or ... it's all a story about the fundamental need of a human being... of getting the whole spectrum of desired energies?!
Should ... she be stopped?!
Should ... someone tell her ... that she is not really having the right of playing with the mind of her lover ... manipulating him into such a disgusting way?!
But ... i also dare to ask ... what is the final result of those trends or gaslighting?!
Will ... she ever know to stop for real those games?!
Or ... wait till she "totally damage" ... the brain of her lover?!
Well ... it's all difficult to understand ... and more difficult to accept.
But ... real case scenarios.
Cause .... Yes ... the human being has lots of weird needs.
Some of us .... we can hide that.
Pretend ... those needs are not real.
But some of us .... asking that abstractly ... to happen...
... in continuous form.
And ... without carrying of consequences.
Yes .... without caring we use manipulation, or hurt others people's feelings ...
We just do it ...
Yes ... we allow ourselves to be dominated by the addiction.
.... believing we have the right of having parallel realities.
Most certainly ... it is too difficult to understand all ... but ....
